I am on a Journey to Paradise

I am on a journey to paradise.

There will be rough times along the way,

I will be strong, vigilant, and live as if it were my last day.

I am on a journey to paradise.

As the seasons come and go, I will use my experience and share that wisdom.

The time may come for you to take my hand and I can walk to your kingdom.

I close my eyes and hold my breath—

Knowing that I have no fear of death.

I have a meeting with Paradise

On some grassy lake with a light breeze blowing, I want to be free from doubt. It should be a beautiful day to walk about.

Dear Lord, life has brought me here to go and meet those that have gone before me. My heart is weary, my body aches, and I hear those voices that call me as I sleep. I take each breath as if it were my last and know you will lead me when it is the time to pass.

I ask you to help me on this journey to Paradise, please hear me as I pray this prayer, to bring me peace and love as we cross over there.

As I walk on this pilgrimage of life, please help me complete this journey with Christ.
